About Henri
Sacked at 70 years of age for being "too old", Henri threw caution to the wind and started a new business as a macadamia farmer - with no prior experience. More than 20 years and 35,000 trees later he's showing no signs of stopping.

Henri Bader
At the age of 70, Henri Bader was sacked from his job as a sales manager. But, “I was young. I was only 70. I didn’t feel like I’d come to the end of my working life.” So Henri began his farming career, enrolling in TAFE to learn the art of cultivating macadamia trees – of which he now has 35,000.
Filmmaker
Sara Glaoua
Sara Glaoua is an award-winning Melbourne-based director with a strong passion for ethical filmmaking. She grew up between France and Morocco, moving to Australia in 2012. She graduated from Sydney Film School in 2013 and worked with in all aspects of filmmaking.
Her work is a mixture of magical realism and social drama. Her short documentary ‘The Gift’ won the IGTV award as part of the Sydney Film festival in 2019. She has made numerous films to date, including ‘A Dry heart’ (2021) and ‘Si’ (2013) which combined have screened at several film festivals worldwide. Most recently, she was one of the ten participants of the inaugural ATFRS National Documentary Talent Camp in 2022. She’s currently developing her first feature documentary and establishing herself as one of Australia’s up and coming culturally diverse filmmakers. Her works aims to bring a voice to migrant communities by telling impactful stories.
