We all adore Gwenny, our beautiful 96-year-old client. She had a warm smile as she opened her gift, putting each item on the table and so appreciating the lovely contents.
I was very grateful for the Christmas hamper that Feros Care delivered, it made me feel very special knowing they were thinking of me.
A very grateful (and teary) Peter was so appreciative of his hamper. It was a tough Christmas this year for him as it is his first at home alone and apart from his true love who has dementia and is in aged care facility.
Wendy has been alone on Christmas for the last 36 years. When her hamper arrived, she wondered who would be sending her something. She opened it and was so happy that she even shed a tear, as she has never had anything like this done for her before. Wendy wanted me to tell everyone thank you very much, it has made her Christmas!
Noeline burst into tears when she opened her hamper. She is very isolated on the Island and she could not write all of her Christmas cards this year due to pain in her hands. She had been feeling despondent, but said that this made all of those feelings go away. As her wellbeing manager, I also shed a tear. Thank you to those who donate for being so wonderful and sharing the love with someone who otherwise may have missed out!
Donald loved his Christmas Day phone call and chat. He told me all about the birds he encouraged into his garden and how they kept him company. He said how grateful he was for our support and that he hadn’t expected so much kindness. He made my day!
