If I keep my home what are the DHS (Centrelink) rules?

If you keep your home, it is automatically exempt from the DHS/DVA Assets test for two years after you enter a residential aged careservice. After two years, your pension will normally be re-assessed under the ‘non-homeowners assets test’, with the value of your home included as an asset.
