Elly-May Barnes may have grown up in a household that most people would expect to be anything but normal – especially as Australian rock legend Jimmy is her dad – but ‘normal’ is exactly the environment her parents strived for as they raised a daughter with cerebral palsy.

Tim Daly was diagnosed with severe anxiety. His lifestyle needed to change and, as he quickly discovered, society’s stigma around mental health issues needed to be challenged. Tim decided to set up the organisation, This Is My Brave, in Australia to give people a chance to tell their stories of mental health.
