Am I eligible for the NDIS?
To be eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) the person applying must meet the access requirements. This means you should reside in Australia, be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent visa or special category visa; be aged under 65 years and have a permanent disability.
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will first determine whether you meet the age and residence requirements before considering whether you meet the disability or early intervention requirement.
As an NDIS registered provider, Feros Care has Local Area Coordinators (LACs) who can assist you with all aspects of the scheme, including helping you understand your eligibility for the NDIS and apply for the scheme. If you’re eligible for the NDIS, an LAC will contact you to start the planning process.
To start the process of finding out whether you’re NDIS eligible, contact Feros Care by calling 1300 986 970 or send an email to feroslac@ndis.gov.au. As a not-for-profit organisation owned by the community, you can rest assured that we’re there for only you.
