What Is Home Care?
Home care (also known as ‘in-home care’) is care that takes place in a person’s home to enable them to live independently in their home. Home care services can be government funded (e.g. through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) or a Home Care Package (HCP)) or privately funded. A variety of home care services are available to help you live independently, such as:
Help around the home (housework, house maintenance, shopping, home-cooked meals & home modification, including smart home technology)
Help staying healthy (personal care, physiotherapy, nursing & health and fitness)
Help getting out and about (transport, shopping, social outings, connection and companionship).
If you are currently receiving or interested in applying for the Commonwealth Home Support Programme or a Home Care Package and would like to learn more about our home care services, please contact Feros Care on 1300 090 256 and one of our aged care experts will be happy to assist you.
