What Is Telehealth?

Telehealth is the remote diagnosis and treatment of patients via video-conferencing (usually a computer with a video camera) that provides people with access to doctors from home. In aged care, telehealth usually involves keeping in regular contact with your health team without leaving home.

There are many benefits to telehealth remote monitoring. These include providing regular checks of your health status, vital signs and general wellness, and getting a better understanding of your current health and conditions. Telehealth remote monitoring may be available as part of your Home Care Package, Commonwealth Home Support Programme package, or other government-funded programs.

Anyone can access the benefits of Telehealth Remote Monitoring, which may be available as part of your Home Care Package, Commonwealth Home Support Programme package or another government-funded program. Contact Feros Care on 1300 763 583 to find out how we can help you.
